MIDI to XLR adapter

The MIDI to XLR adapter enables you to send a normal MIDI signal via an XLR microphone cable. At the other end of the cable, the XTM (XLR to MIDI) adapter is connected. With the combination of a MIDI to XLR (MTX) and XLR to MIDI (XTM) adapter, MIDI signals can be sent over a microphone cable or a single-shield multi-core cable. Thanks to the integrated MIDI signal amplifier, signal transmission over a distance of 50 m is possible.

For longer distances of up to 250m, the MIDI signal can be transmitted using two XTMpro adapters. The XTMpro adapters base on the StageWire technology and allow communication in both directions over a single microphone cable (bus system).
