System Manager Installation Instructions:
1. Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it.
2. Move the folder "Prostage System Manager xxx" into your local application folder.
=> IMPORTANT: When you open the "Prostage System Manager.app" for the very first time, you have to hold down the "Ctrl" ("Control") key.



Firmware

Important Note for the Firmware Update from Version 1.xx to 2.xx:
When upgrading from firmware version 1.xx to 2.xx, you must be sure to update the foot controller(s) first, and the XTMpro | XDS | XLS only after that. Disconnect the foot controllers while updating the XTMpro | XDS | XLS. After the succesfull foot controller firmware update, you will see a "Timeout" error message which you must ignore. For further information, see users manual chapter 17.

=> Universal Runtime is required, which is already installed on your computer if your system is up-to-date. However, on older Windows versions (7 or 8.1) with no maintenance updates, it might be necessary to install the Universal Runtime manually.

USB Driver Installation Instructions:
1. Unzip the downloaded file.

2. On Windows 8 and 10 only:

  • Select the “Start” button.
  • Type “startup”.
  • Select “Change advanced startup settings“.
  • Select “Restart now” under the “Advanced startup” area.
  • Select “Troubleshoot“.
  • Select “Advanced Options“.
  • Select “Startup Options“.
  • Select “Restart“.
  • A menu will appear where you can press “7” on your keyboard to choose “Disable driver signing enforcement“.

3. When you connect the XTMpro for the first time, the assistant will ask you for a driver => Here you have to select the path where you did store the folder with the USB driver in step 1.
Hint: Please note that the driver may install as "FTDI Driver".
