I was looking for a professional footswitch for a long long time but my quest finally ended with the Prostage products and namely the X07 and the XTMpro: they are smart and very very sturdy. The X07 MIDI board lets you recall seven presets, or the switches of the receiver are turned on and off directly (like a conventional footswitch for amp channel switching). Mixed operation is also possible. Thus, each switch has a direct function, there is no bank-selection. Thanks to the compact design, the X07 MIDI board fits into the the case cover for transportation.
In combination with the required Prostage XTMpro adapter or XDS | XLS Loop & Switch system, the X07 manages the complete MIDI gear, amp channels and stompboxes with a single click. The tap functions round off the features of the X07 MIDI board.
The programming is very simple and easy using the free System Manager software (Mac & PC).
The Prostage MIDI boards are connected using a standard microphone cable to the XTMpro adaptor respectively XDS | XLS Loop & Switch system. The cable transmits the MIDI data and also supplies the MIDI board with power (more infos about the StageWire technology ).
The connectors are positioned in a way that prevents the plugs from damage by treading. The singer may therefore confidently tread with full force onto the connectors.
Up to 14 Prostage MIDI boards can be interconnected directly. Thus, several MIDI boards can be used in different places of the stage or even an additional MIDI board for the guitar tech.

Der X07 ist extrem praktisch, vor allem wenn man zusätzliche CCs braucht, um Effekte an und auszuschalten. Oder - wie in meinem Fall - GuitarRig auf dem Mac Steuern will. Da man in Guitar Rig alles zuweisen kann und nur CCs braucht, kann ich so mit 2 Tasten die Presets hoch und runterschalten und habe 5 Knöpfe frei für Effekte on/off zu schalten. Zusätzlich habe ich noch das Expression Pedal konfiguriert. Eine SEHR feine Sachen, schön klein und durch die StageWire/XLR Verbindung unkaputtbar. Bin sehr zufrieden!
Ich habe den X05 und X07 Footcontroller und ein XTM Pro Modul. Ich muss sagen diese Teile sind ein SEGEN für jeden Gitarristen. Robust, klar strukturiert, einfach zu bedienen und ENORM flexibel! Und sehen auch noch toll aus. Was mich an meisten von den Prostage Produkten überzeugt, ist die Tatsache das hier mitgedacht wird. Viele der Features sind ohne Zweifel aus der Praxis entstanden und nicht auf dem Designboard irgendeines Japanischen Diplomingenieurs :-) Funktionen wie z.B. Sidekick, last used, tap tempo und die Schaltrelais sind hier ein Beispiel. Die Verbindung zum Footcontroller über XLR Kabel ist ein Geniestreich - das da vorher noch Niemand drauf gekommen ist!!! Endlich keine Midikabel mehr auf dem Boden, die man alle 3 Monate erneuern muss. Für mich gibt es nichts anderes mehr - Danke für diese geilen Teile!!! Bernd Kiltz.

Have just started using the X07 to control my G-Major. The X07 is very sturdy & simple to use. Power + MIDI via the XLR is excellent, it works faultlessly and is great under the foot! Für mich ist die X07 Fussleiste die optimale Wahl um meinen VH4 zu bedienen. Somit habe ich die Möglichkeit die 4 Ampkanäle zu schalten und es sind zudem noch freie Presets vorhanden für z.B. ein Auto Wah, eine zweite WahWah-Einstellung und den Solo-Switch. Das kleine Board ist handlich und robust, die Anordnung und Qualität der Taster perfekt und die Möglichkeit das Expressionpedal für die WahWah-Steuerung direkt am Board anzuschliessen ist einfach nur genial! Das ganze Prostage Sortiment ist für den harten Roadeinsatz gebaut und absolut durchdacht. Ich nutze nur einen kleinen Teil der Möglichkeiten, aber schon nur dies macht es für mich zur perfekten "eierlegenden Wollmilchsau". Ich benutzte zudem den XTMPRO und das Remote WahWah.
